The
Historical Daisy Theater on world famous Beale
Street in downtown Memphis oozes with a feel of down home Blues
& Soul music entertainment. The building is
a wonderful example of nickelodeon architecture from the early cinema
era. The inside houses antiques, posters and music paraphernalia
all over the place. It has great atmosphere, great
acoustics, great seats and great food & beverage service.
Legendary
performers like Bessie Smith, Memphis Slim, Bobby “Blue” Bland and
B B King have left their mark there. Even Elvis, on several occasions,
had graced the building. The 2007 Jus` Blues Music Awards
inaugural Memphis event was held there.

Mr. Catron was once with the Civil Rights Movement under the leadership
of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and Dr. Ralph Abernathy.

D.C., Dr. Abernathy encouraged us all to go back in our communities
and work to bring about change for the betterment of mankind."
Randle

of historical Beale Street to becoming a great destination for Memphis
in-towners and out of town travellers.
